"In a day when people seem to only want to take time to complain I would like to say thank you and let you, the management and staff, know how wonderfully refreshing it is to visit Lancaster Harley-Davidson.  Since I purchased my 1990 XLH from an individual locally I did not know what to expect when I came to a Harley dealer.  I mean sometimes when you do not purchase a vehicle from a dealer the reception you get when you stop by many times is cold.  This is the kind of reception I got from another dealer north of Lancaster.  I don't know why I went there in the first place.  I felt like I got shafted but no need to go into the details.  Well, this did not happen with the folks at Lancaster Harley-Davidson.  From the first day I walked in the door until now I just can't believe how wonderful I have been treated.  Can you imagine how I felt when I thought that your people were really glad to see me?  The first place I went was to the parts counter asking dumb questions because I am sort of new at this.  Well right from the start with a headlight problem I had, Brian was just as helpful as I could dream about and has been ever since.  I think he must have written an encyclopedia about cycle parts and he did it all with a smile!  Then working with Bonny was just as nice.  Fact is she even say hi Richard when I stop in.  Can you just imagine that?  Then there was the service department that I know I must have seemed like a real idiot with my dumb questions.  But guess what?  Steve and Kevin have been really refreshing because they have been just great.  They went out of their way to help me and explained all my questions like they didn't have anything else to do (of course I know better).  Right from the very first time I called just to ask how to adjust my headlight Kevin took the time to help me.  The other place would have just said bring in the bike and we will look at it.  I just can't say enough great things about the guys at the service desk and the guys who fixed all my little headaches!!!  I don't look forward to having problems with my bike but if I do, I will look forward to talking to the guys in service.  Then there is Bill, Dave and Ray in the sales department.  Guess what?  They were not too busy to talk with me.  I took a ride with Ray on an Electra Glide after Dave helped me with questions and Bill worked out the terms for payment for me.  My wife and I just can't swing the new bike right now but we will next year and we would not even consider buying it from any other dealer even if it was for less $$$.  I know that I have only mentioned a few people in these comments but the reality is that everyone at LHD is just great.  Way to go staff and management at Lancaster Harley-Davidson.  A place where the people really are glad to you stopped by!"

"My wife and I both just bought '08 Harleys from this dealership.  We had a pair of bikes to trade-in or sell outright.  Lancaster HD worked with us on the time and were very patient while we worked out the sale of our two bikes privately.  Amy and Bill kept us informed of everything along the way, got our upgrades and accessories coordinated, and took care of us above and beyond what we have experienced at other dealerships.  There is no comparison of any kind between Lancaster HD and the other places, other than the fact they all sell Harleys.

Thank you Amy and Bill (and the parts, clothing and service staff, too) for all your patience and understanding.  You are absolutely great!

Also, a "Thank you" to Tim Hamilton as well, for providing a dealership with such a high-quality group of personnel that take the term "customer service" to heart and make it truly mean something."

"My first contact was with Randy when signing up for the Rider's Edge course.  Randy contacted me right away and got me signed up.  Then Amy sent me an email to say hi and to see if there was anything she can do for me.  The Rider's Edge course came next.  I can't say enough about all the instructors, Jeff, Blaine & Julie, you did a great job teaching!  I learned a lot about motorcycles, riding and safety.  Now I have a license, skills but no bike, back to Amy, looking for a 08 Fat Boy.  Amy went looking and found what I was looking for.  I picked my new bike up within 3 weeks of passing my test  THANK YOU!  Can't forget everybody else, from the sales manager Raymond, the sales girls at the counters and the cooks that made all the great food during our class.  I'm sure my dealing in the future with parts and service will be much the same!  I couldn't have picked a better dealership!  I look to spend many years being part of the Lancaster Harley family!  THANKS AGAIN TO ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!."

"Just back from Daytona, put 500 miles on my new road king.  I've been riding BMW's for 35 years, wanted to find out what all the fuss was about.  I love this bike, it's so easy to ride and move around even at slow speeds.  Bought a pearl white and black what a beautiful machine.  Treated like a king at the dealer.  So far other then a little more heat then I'm used to I think I'm going to love this bike.  Going to tail of the dragon in June for a week.  I'll let you know!"

"I've purchased 3 bikes from Lancaster Harley-Davidson since 2004 and each has been an enjoyable experience. Bill and Dave in sales are friendly and professional. They treat me like a family member whenever I come in. The parts department is well stocked and the personnel are always helpful and cheerful. The service department has made great progress in their quest for higher customer satisfaction. I bought a 2007 Electra glide Classic in April 2007 and it developed a problem a few weeks before a long trip I had planned. They worked very hard to fix it and I was completely satisfied with the repairs. My wife and I had a great trip and our bike performed great! The H.O.G. chapter is fun and the event calendar has something for everyone. I feel that Lancaster Harley-Davidson is the only place to go for whatever I might need. "

"This was our first purchase of a Harley Davidson motorcycle and found the staff at Lancaster Harley very professional and pleasant to deal with. We had been coming to the open houses for a few years and finally decided to take the next step and purchase a motorcycle after much decision making on what model we wanted. We stopped by the dealership and were greeted by Bill Tshudy who asked how we were doing and let us know he would be glad to answer any questions after we looked around. We then talked with Bill about the model we were interested and some options and incentives that were available at the time. Bill was very helpful and at no time pressured us at all. We left and decided a few days later that we wanted to take the next step and purchase a new bike. We stopped by the dealership but Bill was out at some company training and Dave Radcliff gladly sat down with us and took our information and helped us out, he then relayed our info to Bill. Bill contacted us upon his return and set up a time to come in and finalize our purchase. Within a few days they had the cycle we wanted with the accessories installed and ready for us to pickup. We were very pleased with the way we were treated and how the service department prepared the bike so quickly. I would and will recommend Lancaster Harley to anyone looking to purchase a motorcycle. "I have purchased several bikes from different dealers, I am not sure what it was but I knew something was different about Lancaster hd the day I walked in. That was in 2005 when I bought my Electra Glide Classic. It just amazing how you are treated and that goes well past the day of the sale. In fact that is what makes you guys stand out, I think we problem visit your dealer ship about once a month from everything to just stopping by or for buying cloths or accessories and from the time we walk in we feel like we are welcome that we are part of something. Something happened a couple of weeks ago that really proved to me that you are the standard for what a dealer ship should be. I decided to take advantage of the winter storage special, so I called and set everything up I also wanted to get a few thing done on the bike while it was in. So I dropped off the bike gave a list of what I wanted done and boom there was a misunderstanding on a couple of things. And here is where I was so impressed, Carlton came down to talk to me and the first thing he asked is what I though, what a different then saying well this is the way it is!!!!!!!!! I explained to him what I though and he came up with a solution that worked. I just know first hand that if this would have occurred at any other dealer ship I would have been told this is the way it is. What I am trying to say in all of this is you really listened and tried to understand where I was coming from. You guys take the customer is right approach to heart. And yes like I said you make us feel like we are part of something and maybe that is the Lancaster family."

"Purchasing a new bike (my first Harley) from Lancaster Harley Davidson could not have been easier. The online credit application started the process followed by a friendly phone call from my salesperson Amy, who informed me of my credit approval and the availability of Sportsters I inquired about on my application. Several days later a second call from Amy telling me of special buyer incentives that are being offered, what my monthly payment would be on Sportsters that were in stock and ready for immediate ownership and the hours they would be open that day. I made up my mind that I would check out the deals after work that afternoon. On entering the pristine showroom I was greeted with a smile and friendly call of my first name, by Amy. She proceeded to show me bikes of my interest and left me to "try them on", and get a feel of what was best for me. The rest is history... I am the very proud owner of my first Harley Davidson Motorcycle and definitely not my last. Thank you Amy, for making my purchase as enjoyable as my first ride on my new Harley Davidson Sportster.
